I used to be of the opinion that Jeremy McGrath was the greatest motorcycle rider of all time. After all, he is my idol and even after his retirement, I am still a huge fan.

And while I still feel that MC is the best Supercross rider of all time....Ricky Carmichael is a fucking god. He is on his way to destroying the 250 class for the 5th year in a row. Two years ago he went 24-0 outdoors...something no one ever thought could be done. This year he may just do it again.
At the last race he put 30 seconds on the best riders in the world in BOTH motos.

As some might know, I used to hate Carmichael because of multiple reasons....but god damn....anyone that can routinely kick everyones ass deserves some respect...and the $10 million dollar paycheck that goes with it.

I have so much respect for the guy.He works so hard to stay at the top.

I always think of Jeff Stanton.Heres a guy that rose to the top in 89,and by 94 he was burnt out and retiring at like age 24 or something.

McGrath had natural ability,he could stay at the top without trying too hard,but RC has to work at it and thats what amazes me,the constant motivation and drive to stay on top.

I cant believe how hes kicking KW's ass outdoors,coming back from injury!Kevin must be demoralized.And to top it off,Chad Reed is beating him too!

Next year is going to be amazing .Hears hoping none of the top guys gets hurt before it all starts. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
